The 201th Anniversary of Fort Mims

9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Events for the weekend include:
- Dedication and Memorial Service beginning at 10am on Saturday, August 30th.
- Dramatic Battle Reenactments each day, Saturday and Sunday.
- Living History Demonstrations and lectures including: native plants, period weapons and clothing, Creek Indian cultural presentations, pioneer church service,
blacksmithing, period music and arrowheads.
- Crafts of the early 1800s: wool spinning, quilting, pottery, watercolors, skinning, flint napping, basketry, and more.
- Display of artifacts recovered from the Fort will be available.
A detailed schedule of events will be posted before the battle date.
